OEM shows trans, transfer, diffs at 100k, just run the factory stuff
Power steering, whenever you want if at all
Brake fluid with every brake service
*
Like i said opinions will vary, just service at regular intervals your are comfortable with and you should not have any fluid related failures  :twocents:

Grease is cheaper than parts....

I had a Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport with the LSD.
I had always upgraded fluids to full synthetic, typically Mobil1.
This differential chattered badly with full synth, I had to go back to dino oil and use Toyota friction modifier.
The gearbox was also picky.  Stiff and grunchy, especially when cold, until I tried Royal Purple GL4 gear lube.  That stuff is amazing.

Never use synthetics in your diffs.

Never use synthetics in your diffs.
Unless it came from the factory with syn in them  ;)

The @Woodchuck has had success keeping his Duramax alive. Input, Jimbo?

I run Amsoil in everything in my 02 Duramax. Fuel filter once a year. Other than the typical wheel bearing and control arm stuff on the front end, no major issues. 270k and counting and I am not truck shopping.  :twocents:

130k on my '06 LBZ

Rotella Oil twice a year
I do the fuel filter every other oil change, either Baldwin or AFE pro guard.
Transynd and external filter at 90k for the tranny.
Haven't done my Diff or Transfer case yet but ATF in the Transfer case.  I have 4 quarts of Mobil 1 75-90 for the Diff sitting in my garage.
I have some Dexcool sitting in my garage waiting for a rainy day as well.
Make sure to keep your front end greased.

Use Castrol syntec, or Mobil delvac in the tranny. They are the best TES 295 fluids for the Allison tranny. I only run a.c. Delco or racor fuel filters on my LBZ. They are a 2 micron coalescing filter that are critical to the health of your injectors.

Never use synthetics in your diffs.

That makes absolutely no sense, but whatever.
For the trans, do a complete fluid exchange and use Castrol Trasnsynd. I'm not usually hung up on brands, but back when I had our old Dmax, Allison was doubling the factory warranty on med duty trucks of refilled with Transynd before xxxx miles. That alone has to mean it's the best fluid for the Alli.
No need to use OE brand fluids for anything. Remember the OEs don't make their own fluids. It's rebranded from someone.

2007 Duramax with 147k have done the whole deal every 50k. frt diff, rear diff,t-case,power steering, and brake fluid. fuel filter every other oil change. Runs strong as ever. power steering is brake booster on the duramax. it is cheap insurance for me

Never use synthetics in your diffs.

Only synthetics in diffs when in Alaska otherwise winter will be a costly ordeal for you..lol

Use mobile 1 synthetic in my 2003 Tacoma TRD and have 422,200 on it and engine seems fine. Most all the other fluids I haven’t been very good about maintaining.

Every sixty k or so . Use factory spec fluids . I like to pull a cooler line and flush the transmission untill I get clean fluid out the cooler. Fuel filter and spin on transmission filter every 15 to 20 k . If the ps and brake fluids are getting dark I'd flush them . One thing I'd pay vlese attention to is coolant I'd drain and fill Evey couple years to keep corrosion down .
