Hey All,
Almost a couple years ago I started Kayak fishin, I get a ton of questions about it. If you have any question hit me - and I will do my best to impart some wisdom. Take care,

I'll start, what is a good way to get into this way of fishing? I'd really like to have a rig to fish the beaches for coho. Any good shops where I can go in as a newb and get good advice without getting talked into a really expensive setup I don't need? I live in Port Orchard.
I think I'd like a kayak that is good enough for salt water beaches in good weather, I don't see myself talking it into bigger water than the puget sound in the summer.

Steelhead Ted...
I have a cou-le of fishing kayaks rigged up and fish around Port Orchard and other spots in Washington a fair bit. Let me know if you would like to meet up at Long Lake or around Manchester and I could show you a few things.

Wife wants a few kayaks for dinking around the lake, instead of getting cheap ones from costco I thought about getting a couple nice fishing kayaks and take them to Tofino, BC
fish for rock fish, lings and if the silvers are in get some of those too, I really enjoyed hugging the kelp beds but I've never been on the salt with a kayak (or fished from one)
What would you recommend?
