Title: Mountain View Elk unit
Post by: sportsman002001 on March 15, 2009, 10:47:32 AM: I drew the Multi-Season elk tag and looking into the best units to draw. I only have 7 points and have been looking at the Mountain View area for archery and just looking for some input on that unit. Anything will help thank you.

I wouldn't waste 7 points on it.
last years odds were only 1 in 16. I know guys that have drawn it with 0 and 3 points. You should draw with 7 but I would put it as your 3rd or 4th choice. Let me know if you draw and I'll give you some info.

Post by: Pathfinder101 on March 22, 2009, 09:21:19 PM: Just got my copy of Wash-Oregon Game and Fish Magazine. There's a guy in the photo corner with a 330 bull from the Mountainview Unit. Doesnt say if he got it on public or private. I'd be happy with that bull though for 7 points...
