Title: Westport Boat Basin
Post by: ctwiggs1 on July 11, 2018, 07:47:36 AM
Looks like there is a good chance I'll be down there for some family fun after the Aug 16th salmon opener.

Any one had any luck catching salmon off the boardwalks?  I've never tried it but a six fish limit really makes me wonder if I should at least try...

I think that's a coho fishery in late Sept. but others no better.

Hmm looks like you can cast net for anchovy and sardine too. That could be fun!

I never had much luck getting them to bite, but that was years ago that I last tried in the boat basin. Do a little crabbing off the docks too. It’s fun being down there, maybe you’ll catch some
