Title: gun cases
Post by: kisfish on July 21, 2018, 05:58:03 PM: I am thinking about getting a pelican 1780 or 1740. Does anyone have any experience with one of these. I am looking for a grab and go case in the event of a tsunami that will be a easy transportation option. Any other recommendations on guns longer than 44". Thanks

Post by: BigGoonTuna on July 22, 2018, 04:28:36 AM: i have one of the 2 gun pelican models(forgot the #) that was more of an irrational want than an actual need(my justification is to have it for long trips with a fully loaded car/truck where my guns could be banged up, of which i have made none since i got it)

it's built like a tank, and is about as heavy.

I also have this.It is a solid case if i need more gun case i will buy this again.Heavy but a very good case.
