Title: Who's going to get screwed this season?
Post by: go4itlab on July 22, 2018, 11:50:25 AM: Thinking about starting a pool $5 a square. Who's draw hunt is going to get ruined by a late season fire this year. Any takers? Just kidding happened to me a few years back when someone IDIOT caught Meeks table on fire opening morning. Worst feeling ever.

We were evacuated but we're still able to access other parts of the unit. Same with Peaches last year. So much dirt was open to hunt despite "the sky is falling" hysteria from a lot of people. Adapt and overcome or quite before you even start. No brainer on what my choice will always be :twocents:

Post by: Doublelunger on July 23, 2018, 12:52:00 PM: Hopefully not too many get screwed but the fact of the matter is that longer, bigger and more intense fires are becoming the Norm and its only going to get worse. One would be wise to keep this in mind when making plans for hunting season, and maybe even when applying for tags.
