I have a woodstove for my wall tent and I was thinking about making a pellet stove adapter for it so I could burn either but I have heard a lot of horror stories of burn back’s and smoke in the tent in the middle of the night just wondering is it worth it or not who has bought one or made a gravity feed pellet stove for wall tent.

I have the Riley only used it one week so far but no problems.

I owned a Riley for several years and loved it.

I have a cylinder stove and bought the pellet feeder attachment. I couldn't get it to keep the tent warm. I am going to try different pellets this year. Apparently the brand of pellets matters for a hotter fire. I am trying to heat a 15x15 tent when it is 4-20 degrees out.

It really does. Bear mountain burns very hot and the pellets are a lot darker with aditives. Usally the darker the pellet the more heat. I dont like burning the super hot pellets in the house pellet stove to much as the aditives can build up and start a fire in the cheminey over time but for warth in a tent stove heck yeah.
