Title: Idaho Unit 70 for Moose

I was the lucky recipient of a Disabled Veteran Bull Moose tag for Unit 70 in Idaho. I've done quite a bit of online research but living in Olympia, have not had a chance to put boots to ground. I'll be contacting the area biologist nest week for information but in the meantime, I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has local knowledge of the unit. I've hunted moose in Alaska during my assignment there from 1992-2000 and are familiar with calling them and many of their typical behaviors, but am looking for anything unique to Shiras moose vs the Alaskan variety. Post by: meatwhack on July 29, 2018, 06:28:35 AM: Are you hunting with a disabled vet organization? I don’t have any experience with that unit but I’ve seen some requests for info on disabled vet hunts on other forums.
