So lets say hypothetically a guy was to come across a "special special" any bull tag for the colockum GMUs 328 & 329 starting September 1st with a rifle. What advice or contact info should that person seek.hypothically that person should say he has a tag and needs help. :twocents:

That’s a good point with limited mobility mid to late November may be the time to go.

If you can wait for the week between early archery and the muzzy season that is when I would go. With mobility being an issue you won’t be able to be too picky but a 300” 6x6 close to a road is certainly doable. Might even get lucky and see a 350” plus.Bitter sweet tag to have. Congrats on the tag and sorry for whatever the circumstances are that allowed them to receive it.
Indeed, that’s why drawing the hunt through the actual time available to use it December 31st is not an attractive option.
That’s if the focus is to get a bull. I think with limited days or months left I would get the individual out everyday of the hunt that you can and let them soak in the experience in the woods of bulls bugling. For me just the experience of being out there and hearing the bugles is amazing.

North of 350” is the dream goal for the hunter. I think this is possible as we can close the distance with the 195gr 28 nosler
