Title: Gmu 388 Garrison
Post by: 1851navycolt on August 19, 2018, 04:55:13 PM
Hello fellow washington hunters. Im new to the forum hunted all through my teenage years and now getting back into deer hunting. I am in the goldendale area. I know the deer numbers have gotten low out here but i was just curious if anyone still hunts the timberland out Garrison road anymore. Went scouting on a camp trip out there just before they closed for fire danger and bumped a couple "legal shooter" bucks out there just wondering how much orange i may run into out there nowadays. I do backpack up in there a ways so i am usually away from the gate but still just wonderin if anyone still goes put there. Still several hunting camps just inside the tree line i know.

If the mountain ground is open there is still some deer around. Plenty of orange to be found as well.
