Title: Walupt Lake rifle elk
Post by: WSU on March 17, 2009, 03:13:03 PM: Has anyone hunted rifle elk around Walupt Lake? I drew the multi-season tag and may end up with a rifle tag when the season comes around.

I am curious what people's experiences are.

Post by: WDFW-SUX on March 17, 2009, 04:22:19 PM: There are some good elk spots around there....they do tend to end up on the REz though. There are some small lakes just south of there that have bulls feeding in them from time to time...I think there right on the Boundary to the west of "two lakes".

There's also the Coleman weed patch zoo.
