went fishing today in beaver ponds in the burn. anybody else ever fish them? caught 11 fish on small muddler minnows. 9 brook trout and 2 cuthroat. lots of deer, elk, bear, coon and mink sign around the ponds to.

Pictures or it didn't happen...
Stop teasing and share some details.

sorry didn't take any pictures. really wasn't that hard to fish... except for that at one spot the beaver ponds had water and the rest of the creek didn't. it was all dried up. only caught one fish there. the other spot we went to was really easy to fish. pull out as much line as the rod was long and swing it out along old logs and steep banks. lots of 8 inch average trout. lots of fun. the brookies already have fall spawning colors, really brightly colored. ;) :)

Yea I saw one guy getting escorted out of Weyco property. Might just be an emphasis with the high fire danger.
