Title: Deal on Rad Madman
Post by: TomT on August 28, 2018, 10:50:49 AM
After reading some opinions on broadheads on here, I decided to try Rad.

Thought I’d let you all know I found a really good deal on the Rad Madman Hpv 100 at Mountain Archery.  $24.99 for a 5 pack.    I picked up a couple.

Anyone used this particular model on elk?

Haven't used that head but I've killed several elk with different rad heads.

Both my daughters are shooting low poundage bows 40 -45# on their first try at archery.
I would like to support local and was wondering if the madman broadheads might fit the bill instead of something like g5 Stryker that have more of a cut on contact tip any help would be great

Wife took a deer the other night.  Shoulder hit that kept it from bleeding out but the internal damage was severe.  Second deer she's killed with one and I see no reason for her to switch.

I'd use any ferrule that holds the HPV blades because they're a snap to change, sharp as all get out, and vicious.
