Does anyone know if there is an age restriction on how old someone has to be to hunt deer? (Archery) I know they have to be able to draw 40 lbs but I don’t see an age restriction.
Thanks for your help

If they can pass hunters ed they’re in.

There is no minimum age in Washington. As long as they pass the hunter education course they can hunt.

My two boys are coming with me on Saturday, for the first time. One's 9 and pulling 40, the other's 11 and pulling 50. I'm not sure if they're more excited to come or if I'm more excited to have 'em.

Also for any age I believe there is still a 1 time waiver for someone who might want to try hunting even before hunters ed. $25
And the have to be with some one who is lic.hunter and has had their hunting lic for the last 3yrs
