Title: Fall Opener Bird Down
Post by: Big Scott on September 01, 2018, 01:07:08 PM
1st tag filled.
Went to a spot that typically isn't productive, but I wanted to do a bit of scouting for deer. After 2 hours, I figured I'd got hit my normal spot. After a brush with a flock that was full of poults, but skittered off onto some private land, 15 min later I spotted 3 heads poking out of the tall grass. Bang Flop. 20 yds
Not the biggest, or by any means the prettiest, but he sure is gonna eat good.

Nice!  I struck out this morning on Turkey and only got 1 dove.  But it's only opening day!
