I cant take credit. Found this on Youtube but did some changes. Swab out with dryer sheet and allow more space on sides. Works better than any speed loader I have tried. Edit: Well they worked on the bench at the range. Have been doing lots of shooting as if hunting.....yeah they work but not as well as the old double ended tube. Put a timer to it...and the tubes are faster so far under a little stress. So now it looks like I will carry two tubes and these to refill them if needed. Well so much for that idea in real world application.

I’m trying to see how that setup would be fast and accurate?
-
I put some pre-loaded speed loaders and caps in a bag and vacuum pack them for my hunts, but I don't see much speed there. I carry caps, powder charge and sabot in bino harness very fast to get to
-
I put my powder in these ,2 go in my coat pocket with 2 sabots and 5-6 go in my possible bag with the other sabots.Never had 1 leak powder out, tight cap and softer plastic.
-
These are the ones Ive used for at least 15 years, Bullet holder, starter, premeasured charge, spare cap all in one. Powder stays dry. I put a cap in but usually use my capper because its easier.

I have gravitated to the CVA 4-in-1 Speed loader as of late.

But another loader that hold some promise is the new Knight Speed Loader

 what are you hunting with(rifle, powder and bullet) and how much powder are you using?

Just tear each section open just like popping off the cap on a tube. The plastic forms a nice tube for pouring the powder. Same for the bullet and primer. I have been comparing and its just as fast to load. As far as working better is because it easily takes up less than half the space, wont pop open, and 100% weather proof. Accurate? Not sure what you mean? You have a measured powder charge, your specific projectile, and your primer all in in one package.
May not be what works for you, but I am willing to try things in hopes of a better way. I just put out the info and maybe it will help and maybe it won't.

 nice vacume pack by the way.
-
I like it
My vacuum pack material won't rip by hand. are You cutting a notch to help?
more info please

Yes, I just make sure my edge seal is double width then cut half way into it. I also mark the cut with a magic marker so I know exactly where it is. Tears across perfectly flat with almost no effort. Also leave the powder cavity a little longer as it allows a nice tube for pouring by just squeezing the edges.
-
I'm going to give this a try and report back.
Thanks for sharing the idea.

i can see this working pretty well and quite fast with a cut start at home for in the field. No knife needed in the field to open.

paper cartridge, just bite the end off and load:
I've been carrying this one around for several years. Time to roll some new ones with 209s in them.

:yike: that's whats up. old school.

-
Butcher paper, wax side out

I don't muzzle loader hunt anymore, but those are the ones I used as well. Works awsome.

These are pretty slick

Do these things above in last post hold a 209 primer?
-
I want to watch the OMG he's still standing after the smoke clears, reload on that one :chuckle:.
TC 4 in 1 the fastest easiest I have found to use. Good luck however you do. Squidward

no they do not... they are in my pocket - remember they are water proof so I just carry them loose.
Well now that i take a closer look at the loader... you really could easily store a 209 primer or even a cap in one. It what take just a small jury rig to make it happen. there is a cavity for the top of your ram rod if you ere to use the loaded as handle to push the load down. The primer could be stored there and a cap of some form fashioned...

I added this to my original post. Well they worked on the bench at the range. Have been doing lots of shooting as if hunting.....yeah they work but not as well as the old double ended tube. Put a timer to it...and the tubes are faster so far under a little stress. So now it looks like I will carry two tubes and these to refill them if needed. Well so much for that idea in real world application. Now to find a faster way to have my 209 Primer/Red Knight Jacket available

I run the Traditions pellet loaders with fffg. They're double capped. Cup your hand over the barrel and pour. Pop the other side and the 300 sabot is ready to load. I always have that block of wood I made on me as well, because I know I need that extra advantage w/ the old Black Diamond. Cap has just a little tape over it, but is loose and accessible once the end is popped. I add a small cotton patch on top of the sabot to reduce rattle and plastic wrap/rubber band tubes for a quicker find and noise reducer.

Probably a lot of people know this but paper cartridges loaders were used ages ago as method of quickly loading and firing your weapon.
Follow this link to a demonstration of the loading procedure

Fastest speed loaders use both hands :sry: :chuckle: 8)

I really like the Thompson center speed loaders. Just a simple tube.
I think the single one is called a rip cord, they have a 3 tube version too. If you're using pellets, they're perfect. Loose powder and bullets get messy in a single tube though. They have little spots to keep your newly legal 209s too.
