Title: Upgrade or use what I have
Post by: hillbillyhunting on September 24, 2018, 06:25:25 PM: I have access to a basic ml that is over 20 yes old. Would it be worth buying my own new ml at the $250-300 price?

Which I don't see worth the effort for me. I'll stick with my Dynamit Nobel #11 caps!

Post by: TomT on September 24, 2018, 09:56:32 PM: Last Fall I killed my first moose with a 27 year old muzzleloader that still shoots straight and goes bang every time I pull the trigger...don’t replace it it you still have confidence with it.

x3 Been using Musket caps with flame thrower nipple. Never had a fail to fire. No reason to change what's worked for Me every time.
