Title: Cage Trap Size for Bobcats
Post by: Cougartail on October 04, 2018, 10:52:34 AM
I have quite a few 12x10x32 raccoon traps. Is it worthwhile to set them for bobcats? I have 6 traps designed for bobcats but don't want to spend more at this time. Trying to make the drive worthwhile as it's a 70 mile round trip.

Run what you brung.  That said, most cat guys prefer 15-16" as a good starting point.

I'm sure you'll get a few extra refusals (maybe a lot more) but people catch cats every year in bitty traps

Thanks for your replies. I guess there is no chance of catching one if they are left in the shed!
