As I was hunting with my buddy trying to get him his first deer I came across 2 dead deer that have been there a long time. Ones a 2 point in velvet and the other is a doe. Should I report this or is it to late since they have been there a long time? Wow, i literally just made a post about reporting folks in cap forest... curious if its the same folks i have on camera.

Could be. There’s a lot of shady activity up there. When I’m up there hunting I don’t like to get to far from my vehicle cause people break into them.

If there is something shady going on with our wildlife call in and report it right away. Dont waste time asking on here cause everyone will tell you to report it. The longer you wait to report something the less likely the situation will get figured out.

I was just saying in general there is shady activity. Not all relating to the wildlife. I’ve heard a lot about cars getting broken into.

Probably too late. You can email pics and locations and ask if they need further info, then they can decide to pursue or not. Heads werent whacked off. No obvious sign of poaching. Animals die all the time. I see hundreds of dead animals.

In September I came across a bunch of rotting geoducks up there off an end of the e line. Is that someone dumping an illegal catch or nasty bear bait? Couldn't tell...This was on September 1st.

I live 500 yards from Capitol Forrest. I got home last week around 11pm ... first thing I hear when I get out of my car is a gunshot. Yap there goes another animal after daylight.
A few years ago I emailed a similar pic to what you have there and never got a response back.
It never hurts to try though

Could be where WDFW or DOT dumped some road kill or confiscated animals?

A person can still jack light for several different animals in this state, FYI. Shots after dark doesn’t always mean a poaching, might mean predator control.
If it seems fishy, the best thing to do is report right away. Emailing usually doesn’t make it in time for poaching in progress and it’s better to call it in.

You are correct.
