Title: AK-47 scope mounts
Post by: muzzleman on March 20, 2009, 01:44:22 PM: I am thinking about putting a scope on my Romainian SAR 3 ak-47. What are your opinions on a side mount or a top mount? I am thinking the side mount. Here is a pic of where you attach for the side mount. Would it be good for hunting varmints? It shoots .223s.

Get a low power scope and get it dialed in. I would think it would work good for varmit hunting. Got anymore pics?
