It's my first year hunting in WA, so I applied for all the draw tags just to build up some points, and I ended up drawing a Teanaway turkey permit. Which I have done nothing about, because I've spent all my time on big game. The turkey tag is good for 11/15-12/15.
Does anyone have any hookups for this unit? I'd love to swap for a hunt. I have great processing equipment and skills (wild animals and livestock), and a small boat that's good for crabbing/fishing in the sound and harbors for bottom fish. Or walleye on the eastern part of the state. Can fletch arrows, give archery advice. Help pack animals out. Fix fence. Help scout.
I don't expect to get any help for free. But to use this permit I'd definitely need some help. Heck, if I can shoot a couple (I believe you can get multiple birds out here?), I'd donate one to you for thanksgiving.
I'm cool with walking in a ways to get a bird, and I'm cool with sitting in a backyard and getting a bird. Tom, jake, hen. I'm not picky.
Any advice would be appreciated, and any help on a hunt would be even more appreciated! I'll help you out with whatever I can, too.

Drive up Teanaway River Road at first/last light and take note of all the fields/yards that have birds in them. There will be lots. Next day, knock on doors or give the owners a call.
Pro Tip: the further up the road from 97 you get, the more supportive the homeowners tend to be of hunting lol

Switchback...just FYI...but you can only get 1 fall turkey...say's so in the rule book under bag limit (1). Just wanted to make sure you didn't get in trouble. Good luck, we will be over there at some point as my oldest son has that permit...hoping he gets his first turkey!
