Gonna be in the Monroe/Everett area. Over from the dry side. Looking to get my boys 8 and 11 on a couple fish. Thinking salt water off a pier? Any rivers where we could manage some action? Should be a nice day and would like to get out for a bit. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Chums will be in the Sky probably. Not much good for anything other than pulling your arms off. They fight hard.

Chums are great for smoked salmon too.

They’re pretty booted out when they’re in the Sky.

Fun to catch cause they are good fighters. Used to be able to fish them on the Nisqually, but somehow that run got low enough that they closed it last two years.

Great info guys! That looks like a fighter!!

I found that if you get an aligator salmon, you can dry brine it 3 paets brown sugar one part rock salt and just burry it in laters 3 or 4 inches deep, let sit a few days to pull the mo8sture out then smoke with no heat til done, and it tastes awesome
