As noted by usmc74 - it has to have open sights. If you live in Washington State then what you want is a ML that shows Colorado legal in the options. This also could be an acceptable ML in Oregon next year.

Would CO legal work in WA and ID? Looking at an Ultralight

No Idaho still requires the Northwest Legal package as they don't allow the 209 primer ignition system.

This is a Idaho (Western) legal ULite..

Same rifle is legal in WA... BUT, you could add 209 ignition in Washington... by changing out some parts. Not a real cheap modification going from Western to 209.

I'm thinking if I did get a ML I'd probably be more likely to hunt it in WA or CO anyway. Know nothing about them though.

For those that know their products, if you wanted to take advantage of this offer what ML would you get? Why that one?

I would go with the Ultra Lite with the Nitride Finish - not because it is the more expensive but because of the way the rifle handles and shoots. AND, I must admit the weight of the rifle is big consideration...
If not that one then I wouldn't hesitate getting a DISC Extreme. The DISC Extreme is not available on this sale - because it is already on sale at Muzzleloaders.com

If I was a vet I would be really tempted. Great deal and a great way to say "thank you" to our nation's vets.
