A relative of mine drew the 1 and only Quality tag for this hunt which runs from Nov 3rd to the 21st. So far he has struggled some to find a quality shooter buck. I am not familiar with the area and can't get away from work to help him, but thought I'd throw something on here if anyone would like to help the guy out or give him some advice on where to look. He lives in the Chewelah area. Feel free to PM me if you want to help. He is an older gentleman and would be nice to see him fill a good tag as he may not have the chance again with WA draw odds. Thanks in advance.

I wouldnt consider any of these late Mule deer tags in this part of the state great.. other than an opportunity with a really low chance at a 170 buck. Super tough hunting even hunting the rut

The only thing I can say is you might need chains on your truck.

I had the tag in 2014, and I passed on a 140 buck on the first day of the season. That was the best buck I saw all season. I have some ideas worth exploring if you want to start a p.m. I can give you some ideas.
My season was super cold and clear and the deer we did find stayed in their bed all day. send me a p.m. and I will get back to you later today.

Honestly, he isn't even the type of guy that is looking for a buck that scores. He would be happy with a mature 4 point.
