Title: Hunting Harstine Island

Post by: duckmen1 on November 23, 2018, 10:47:03 AM: I ran into a make timber company employee recently and talked with him about non motorized land access and was told you need written permission to access any properties of manke ownership. Talked a lot about some properties having a lot of hunting pressure and even talking with the local game warden patrolling the area and never hearing about this. Since thsee lands were brought up in this post anybody want to chime in on the subject.

Post by: fishnfur on November 23, 2018, 01:12:08 PM: I called Manke Timber co. a year or two ago and was told they were open for non-motorized access except during fire restrictions. I have never seen/heard a change to that.
