My wife, my kids and their spouses (total of 8) will all have the same AR come Christmas time.

They're plain vanilla - mostly not modified.

How can I easily mark them so we know who's is who's?
-
Get some nail polish and fill in the letters or number on the receiver give each person a different color . It looks cool too .

-
				Thanks.

How long do you think it would last?
-
Different colors of electrical tape around the bottom of the hand grip. That’s how I mark the 300 blackout from the 556 so I won’t accidentally use the wrong ammo. :twocents:

I'm not sure what you got, that would dictate what bling you could put on.

I seen in another thread you might have went with DPMS oracle's??

That lower is pretty much a blank canvas,  have them engraved?

strip them down and have everyone cerakote their own lowers?

 engrave AND cerakote?

Charging handles. You Can buy different colors. I use red for my 300 black out. So at a glance I can tell them apart.

Do that, super easy. as far as lasting as long as you don't blast it every time with cleaner it will last a while.

I literally LOL'd when I got to my car reference.

 Yes, DMPS Oracles.

 And great ideas.  Thanks.
-
				Lots of really good ideas.

 Thanks for the responses.
-
				put some stickers on them

-
I use a strip of colored duck tape to indicate caliber on the base of each magazine. I know at a quick glance which is which.

-
Love the pink, angry looking, AR toting, hello kitty!  I just ordered some of those stickers online for my wife and daughter.

I’m picturing your Christmas like an Oprah episode.
 Everyone look under your chairs!!!
 YOU GET AN AR!
 YOU GET AN AR!
 YOU GET AN AR!
 YOU GET AN AR!
-
				put some stickers on them

I had a PETA "Meat is Murder" sticker on the stock of my first big game rifle.  Created a lot of enjoyment for other hunters over the years.  When I sold it, the sticker sealed the deal for the buyer!
-
Use the Army method and make them all memorize their serial #  :chuckle:

You could get a different Magpul (or whatever brand) grip for each person, they are cheap enough to make good stocking stuffers and are one of the first things I prefer to change anyway. Lots of different colors and shapes available; I prefer the K2 grip but the MOE is fine too, and the original K is good for people with small hands. All of them come in a number of different colors, even pink.
