Took this old female last week. I was set up against the power pole in the background. With the first blow of my mouth call, I saw this, and one other peeling out, coming my way!
They were probably a quarter mile away, and immediately dropped from view, giving me plenty of time to get ready for them. In a couple of minutes this one appeared, and stood broadside at about 75 yards...looking for the prey. I momentarily considered waiting for the second one to show, but decided it was too risky. 50 grain v-max, from the .222 hit solid, just front of the shoulder, no exit.(https://u.cubeupload.com/SPUDNIK/IMG20181112075459958.jpg)
