He is Great bull for sure. Pretty impressive to see and hear him bugle in person
Not sure of his exact age but I would guess at least 9 or 10.
He is not a Washington bull or a hunt able bull.
-
Not huntable? Does he live in a national park or some other type area where no hunting is allowed?

One of my Dad's old saying was. "Ask me No questions and I will tell you No lies" :chuckle:

It appears to be some sort of aquatic grass. Its really common to see both deer and elk feeding underwater like this in that area.
-

Easy to find unless more Harolds :dunno: Nice bull.
-
A few more.

I'm just asking why they're unhuntable? Not a location or state.
-
:chuckle: Sent you a link.

Harold 2019. Sadly at this point he is very broken, went from an 8X8 to a 7X4. :'(
-
I’m glad you got some great shots of him before he got busted up.
-
Thanks. He didn't get involved in rutting activity until later than normal and then acquired and lost the herd a couple times before being broken. Sucks to get old. :chuckle:
-
This looks like the same bull from post #1.
-
These are all of the same bull P-Man
(except maybe the river eating moss example)

What, do you guys all get together and do photo picnics?
-
It's a famous bull somewhere protected by tons of no hunting areas. I don't recall the specifics as I was given a tidbit of info from the super secret squirrel undercover ninja association of photographers.
-
He lives in a state that rhymes with Fontana

:chuckle: why'd you change it. :chuckle: I'm pretty sure he is safe and no Yaks are gonna drive over and kill him. :chuckle:

I didn't want to get roasted like other members have for giving his location away. You never know, there are some touchy people on this forum.

Well now that hunt-wa has informed me there's big elk in Montana......

Friends did watch the battle at long distance, too far for good photos. Although he lost a bunch of antler, Harold won possession of the cows. I believe this is the bull who broke him.
