Title: Possible Draw Length Setup Swap - Hoyt Defiant Pro Turbo.
Post by: Smossy on December 05, 2018, 05:18:38 PM
I'm a little  vague on exact details but i figure i need to at least get this post started while its fresh on my mind, Its a 70lb # draw. It currently has draw length adjustment down to i think 29-30 inches. I can't remember and like I ssid Ill get exact details later, but I'm looking to possibly swap parts with someone who maybe has too short of a draw.
I'm a 28-28.5 depending on setup, fatigue, and my release. SO its currently slightly too long and it actually ruins my form so bad that its dangerous, pre releasing arrows, target panic, not fun.
With the price lf doing things correctly and going through a Hoyt dealer to get setup that way, I'd try every other option first.

I think that cam is adjustable down to 28” without new parts. Hoyt went to a rotating mod that year so I think you just rotate the mod on the cam.

Go see Doug at Great NW Archery in Puyallup or give him a call he will likely have what you need.

Nope, needs a whole cam replacement to take the new module I need. Pretty stupid IMO. Cant even just get a new mod, gotta be the WHOLE thing.

You said its too long and you need to shorten it to 28". That means it should have the #3 cam which adjusts to 28" by rotating the mod. Here is the chart from Hoyt.
This is assuming you do have the turbo model like in the title of the post. You shouldnt need to buy anything.
