Title: Getting Geared Up For,,,,
Post by: Hunterman on March 22, 2009, 06:03:19 PM: ,,,A little catfishing. Got some new line, hooks, and some other things to tempt Mr. Wiskers.. I'm thinking of a day of salmon fishing, and a day in the freshwater to clean out the salt from the motor, and get a mess of cats, and what ever hits the hooks.

Post by: Alchase on March 23, 2009, 07:54:04 AM: Spencer lake out by Shelton has some big catfish in it. I hooked a 6.5 lb cat there while trolling for bows. I put the motor in neutral while my buddy played his fish, and thought I was snagged until I got it within a couple feet of the surface....then off she went, lol. The boat house there has a yearly pool for each species.
