Post by: Hunterman on March 22, 2009, 06:08:05 PM
Ok,, I have not realy fished freshwater for sometime. Does anyone know if Tanawax Lake has any catfish in it( brown bullheads)? I have caught some nice trout, crappie, and pearch, but never fished for cats.

I plan on fishing Hearts, along with Silver, and maybe Ohop, for some crappies too.

Here is the writeup from Washington Lakes:

TANWAX
Tanwax Lake (172 acres): Located approximately 5 miles north of Eatonville, Tanwax has a state boat ramp and toilets on the north shore. Two private resorts also provide boat rentals, dock and bank access. Rainbow trout, largemouth bass, crappie, yellow perch, catfish and pumpkinseed sunfish are caught.

Lots of crappies in Kapowsin as well. Just head off to the left from the boat ramp. On Ohop watch the water temp. By mid Summer it gets close to 70 degrees and nothing will bite.
