I agree with 2 many, look hard at a 300 winny.
After having owned both I much prefer the win. If I were to step up more it would be a large 338.
The win will push 200+ grain bullets at 2900+.

The wife isn’t too thrilled but I think I’m going to give it a new loving home this weekend. ;)
Just tell her, out of love and appreciation for all that she does, you're actually buying it for her, not yourself. Of course that BS never works but at least you'll have some kind of an excuse. :tup:

I agree with 2 many, look hard at a 300 winny.

I already have a 300wm and 2 short mags and I had a 338wm. I don't NEED it but you know how that goes lol. I want a cross canyon elk hammer for the big logging country I hunt but I don't want a big 338.
