Title: Run into them in the dangest places

Coming home from the Methow Valley and my daughter spotted a bedded cow elk near the Swakane.   SHe has crazy good eyes, but of course I figured deer or sheep.  Flipped a U ee and sure enough, a cow elk.   Ill be darned.

She identifies as a ewe now. :chuckle:

They do pop up in odd places. Never stay when you want them to either

It goes to show you that Wdfw has an any elk unit with one elk In it. :chuckle:
