Well, it’s a new era. 40 years of calling by hand, sometimes even successfully. My wife’s gift to me this year might be aptly named.
Foxpro Shockwave.
It will be interesting to see how it does. I’m excited to free up the hands for either some killer shots with t he camera or some killer shots with the 25.

I made the switch a few years ago. Definitely still keep the hand calls. It can be a bit of an art form and that fox pro can't read a coyote and work them the way an experienced howler, hunter can.
I often see your coyote pics and am amazed you have the restraint to not shoot each one.

Don't mistakenly whack a wolf thinking it is a coyote :chuckle:

Been using electronic for 25 years now but definitely still use hand calls as well. You'll soon figure out when you'll prefer the hand call, some sets just beg for it.

Good advice, thank you. I’ll be excited to hear how this sounds. I’ve wanted one for years. My ex spent 20 bucks on one a few years back. It sounded like it was worth all of that 20 bucks. Never used it. Didn’t even make a good paperweight.

They are fun to use for sure. Take one of the girls, they can shoot the pics before you shoot the coyote . You can always mix it up too :chuckle:.
