Title: Idaho Chain Lakes
Post by: Machias on December 26, 2018, 10:24:33 AM
Howdy, anyone got any good tips or areas to check out in the chain lakes (Anderson, Black, Blue, Bull Run, Cave, Killarney, Medicine, Rose and Thompson lakes)?  If you fish these lakes which one is your favorite and what do you like fishing for there?  Thanks!!

They're all good for pike. This time of year through spring dead stick herring. Typically the better bass fishing is closer to the lake. State record for largemouth came out of Anderson. It's got rock with laydowns and some reeds on the north end. The other lakes (can't say I fished all of them for sure) can get shallower and weedier later in the year. But like I said, they're all good for pike.
