Title: $1000 finders fee: Grandfather’s Lost “Long Tom” w Scarred Barrel
Post by: mgroenig on December 29, 2018, 03:03:56 AM: I’m trying to locate my grandfathers long Tom (Montgomery Ward), 36” barrel, which was sold at “Shooters Supply” back in 1996. It has a long scar on the single shot barrel (break open) as my grandfather dropped it while plowing and ran over it. I am willing to pay a generous “finders fee” for its return. I’d really like to keep it in my family. Please call or text 208.315.2669 if you have any leads or info. Gratefully, Matt

I hope he's keeping it rust free, I think it'll be a collectors item.

I always told him he needed that long barrel to swat the geese out of the air cause he certainly couldn't shoot them :chuckle:

Can you give us an idea where it was lost at? I see you're in Yakima, so I doubt it's here on the west side but you never know.
