Had Jason make this for my sister for Xmas. She wanted to tag along with me one day for an archery elk hunt. Right before first light we had a herd 30 yds off the road as we're driving in, not much we could do but listen to them crash away. A few hours later I drove around to the top of the hill and I parked at the begining of a old grade and I get out of the truck and quietly closed my door and my sister gets out and shuts her door, not once but twice not thinking of being quiet :chuckle: well I take a few steps and hear the elk get up out of their beds 50-60 yds away, I peek over the side of the road to see 6 cows and a 4pt bull running away and that's how the "door closer" call came about :chuckle: I got a pretty good laugh and so did she when she opened this up :chuckle: thanks again Jason, and she's hoping the door closer will call in her first elk this year :chuckle:
