Now that said I dont condone the behavior of some shed hunters but seems to me the wdfw is once again wielding its double edged sword.

It seems to me that there as many people that don't hunt that are shed hunters, and from what I've seen they have less respect for the animals than the actual hunter do. It should be harassment of wildlife and have a stiffer fine and community service or some other public punishment. I remember the talk of the game department scattering the herd on the L.T. years ago, it's all bs to me.

It seems to me I was on that one with you. I can't believe we were dumb enough to hike in there and sleep in the sage brush just above the herd, just to let the herd get scattered from under our feet. :bash: :bash:

I agree 100%. I also think (and this won't be very popular among some) that they should have a license to hunt sheds. Charge $50 a year and that will eliminate a lot of the "slob" shed hunters. If you're caught without a license you get fined bigtime. :twocents:
