Lol, it's not the seagulls pooping on you, it's the angry ones that try to peck your face off :yike: :chuckle:
I haven't been out since early November...dealing with two dying Jack Russells :bash:

Super sorry to hear that brother.....i totally know how bad that hurts...last summer our boxer died ....in front of our kids
. To see my kids face and the heartache was enough to make me not want a dog again....i know its a part of life but ...it sucks. Hang in there.....life is awesome, reality can suck it...
-
He was with us for 8 years, our other boxer went 10.....our first one was our daughters boy, our last boy was my sons dog.....im still not over them ...
-
If you're in for a road trip....roll over and ill take the skeeter out of the garage....sometimes for me, the water makes things better....you know this better than anyone
-
Appreciate it and sorry for your loss as well.
The water has been my go to counselor since age 5! Fishing, especially bass fishing, has seen me through more than a few tough times. It's the main reason I never wanted to pursue it as a career of any kind. I spent ten years in the motorcycle industry and don't even own a motorcycle now. Doing motorcycles for a living sucked the joy out of them for me.
Fishing is hallowed ground in my world, sometimes I still feel 5 years old out there!
I'm going to take you up on that offer, just give me a weekend or two :'(

Gonna head back there this weekend, been one of the better winters Ive seen on Potholes....Anyone been there as of late? We have caught them as shallow as 15 ft, deepest going 30...Plastics and swimbaits have outfished Blades so far...Good luck out there !
-
Gonna try the west side this weekend but I'm just trying to convince myself to pick up a rod again. Need to start snapping out of the doldrums.
Good luck out there

Dang H2H, wish I had been paying attention here. I was there the weekend prior to your original post for 4 days and almost gave you a call. Then went back the same weekend you were thinking about going back on the 26th. Did you get out that weekend? Gotta say, outside the duck hunters, I felt like I was fishing closed waters.

Hey man, how you been.....Its been pretty good out on PH, actually one of the best winters ive seen ! I did roll out there that weekend, did really good, tons of females ( all released ) . I finally put the Skeeter in the garage for the winter, I will have it back out next month, if this damn late winter allows. The last few trips, there were a few boats out there (3)...but yes, mainly duck guys ..Stay in touch, #509-899-9946,..Ill post a picture for everyone to see to my set up thats been doing damage...Im a bass guy so I dont mind sharing. Based on the amount of females, Potholes should be doing just fine on Walleye down the road. ,Best Regards, Randy

This has been my 2 sets ups ...tandem drop shot and a 4.8 swimbait on a 3/4 oz jig head..

As well as anyone with two full-time, stay at home college graduates? Seriously, all is good. Using this weather to build some blades but looks like I need to change it up. Hope this doesn't drop the water temps too low? Hoping to get back over if this mess clears up before March.
