Title: Wyoming type 5 elk?
Post by: sagerat on January 23, 2019, 06:51:07 AM: Can anyone clue me in on this one? Thought I had Wyoming figured out but was wrong... I see type 5 hunts in the regs but they are not there when I log onto my account. Maybe they are resident only?

Just a guess but I think one is anterless modern and one is antlerless archery full price. Can't confirm though

For a particular unit, I think they use the type 4 designation first, and then if needed, they'll have another license that may be for a different part of that unit, or have a different season than the type 4, so they call it a type 5.

You nailed it! I just made a phone call to Cheyenne and got that answer. The reason my type 5 isn’t showing up is because it’s not offered this year. Thanks for the help.
