Title: Larue Ultimate Uppers

Anyone have experience with them? Was thinking about putting together a 6.5 grendel for hunting. Seems like a convenient package from a quality company. It's hard to sift through reviews on other websites because everyone is accused of being LT fanboys or haters.

I have one in 5.56 (16” predatar barrel) with the 13” keymod forend (would have gone mlok but it wasn’t an option when I got mine) I really like it. Great trigger, the grip is awesome. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of is the brake. Easy to put together. I’ve shot it out to 500 yards.

Was the brake not effective or too loud and ugly?

Too loud. I take this gun to classes and when your moving and shooting around other people it just gets annoying.
