Yes. Absolutely.
I heard that corn ponds are causing hoof rot as the elk have to stand in the mud late winter when they eat up the rest of the corn. Pretty much proven at this point if you ask me.

To me, that means they think that is what causes it but they aren't sure. According to Google, that type of bacteria may be able to live outside a host for 18-21 days in ideal conditions, so the good news is that if they are right there is much more hope than with CWD.

I would prefer DEFINITELY safe to eat! Or even no qualifier just safe to eat. Just joking around anyways, I thought it was kind of funny,its like maybe its safe to eat, we think so, not totally sure but go for it!
