Crazy. In my youth I lived a summer with my brother. Would catch carp on lightweight gear in the water retention pond slash lake. Hooked and landed about a 5 lb fancy goldfish. Bagged it up and ran to the local pet store. Got 20 bucks of beer money for it.

Thats awesome!
Sadly, things like snakeheads arent so funny. They prety much nipped the Pirahna craze in the bud, though I imagine there are still a few out there.

There was a Nat Geo show talking about invasive species. They show Snakeheads being caught in Florida quite regularly. They can crawl from one water source to another, and they are voracious feeders.
Last year when I was in Vietnam, we went to a local market on the Mekong river. Every fish stall had Snakeheads for sale. They were constantly jumping out of their buckets and wiggling away. The kids had the job of chasing them down and bringing them back.
