They generally don’t stock the ones near TC until the end of February. They target March 1 as the kickoff date.

Thx you tbone ik about that but I feel like they don’t really update them that much last year they stocked them on the 13th and it didn’t show on the wdfw page until like 2 weeks late.

Quarry pond is froze over. I assume at least some of Dalton is too. With this cold snap not letting up for at least the next week or so I couldnt see these lakes being stocked anytime soon.
Has anybody drove into the potholes to see if any of the lakes there are froze?
On a sidenote. Lots of bald eagles to be seen along the snake river this time of year. Some will even pose for you if you dont move too fast. I also saw a couple weeks ago on the road into Dalton lake a family of short eared owls. Ive never seen them before, though I have read they do inhabit the area.

Sandberm yeah I checked out quarry and it’s conpletely frozen over and so is dalton the next best bet is hitting the tucannon on the opener March 1st hopefully they stock the lakes in time I have also been seeing lots of bald eagles like you mentioned saw 2 on that park just past the bridge on the Burbank side.

I don’t know for sure, but there’s a good chance they are frozen as well.
