I’m looking for a good shoulder holster for a Thompson Contender I just bought from Jake T. It’s got a scoped 14” barrel. I’m looking for something comfortable to hike in and ride quads while wearing it over at my Okanogan property. Easy to access because I want to shoot coyotes any time I see them. It’s a lot of weight so I want something that distributes the weight well so it’s comfortable. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Check out Thompson Center. I had a shoulder holster for my scoped 308.
On a side note Shannon, Pam and I went up there after the fires and saw wolf tracks near the first right turn.. Maybe a mile back or so. I took a picture and showed the ranchers wife, she wasn't too concerned........Oh Well. Loving Arizona.

I used an open ended Quiethide Holster when I was still carrying the TCs around. I had it fit specifically for a 12" Hunter barrel but it would fit a 14" with about 1" of barrel hanging out. Unfortunately the owner Dave died a few years back but I'll see if I can find out if somebody else picked them up.

There's a bunch of leather holsters for the Encore and Contender on eBay. Didn't see anything on the T/C site.

I’ve got a Uncle Mikes vertical sidekick 13” that is made for 14” scoped Contenders. I think it would work well for what you have explained.

Here is an Uncle Mike's Sidekick size 13 with a 12" scoped Contender. You can see it's a little long so the 14" should fit fine. This one is in .357-44 Bain and Davis.

The Uncle Mike's holsters are great if you're tall enough; I'm too short in the torso. :bash:
