This is going to be a really nice event, I hope to meet several of you. Let's make a point to set up a meet time and location.
-
I’ll be there. It would be great to meet some of the Hunt-Wa crew. This is also a great event for people who are interested in getting in to the sport of trapping. Lots of seminars and learning opportunities.

I had a great time and got to hang out with some great trappers. Food was excellent, weather was great and the demos were very good. The live auction raised a BUNCH of money. They had a nice fur show. All the vendors I spoke to said they had a good show. One vendor who had 5 booths, broke down in MT, so he was not able to make it. Great event, beautiful spot with plenty of room for parking and spread out nicely. Really good turnout I thought.

One of the demos, as you can see, great turnout.

Great Rendezvous for their first rendezvous.
Friday I think they said 325 went through the gate. Not sure what Saturday numbers were.
Food was real good even the hamburgers at the food truck.
I took in a couple of demo's.
NO-BS traps SOLD OUT of everything he had. Vendors made money.
Live auction went real good, no body was sitting on their hands and they spent money at the auction.......example:
The 1st Idaho Trapper Magazine that I put together for them was autographed by the guy on the front cover went for $680.00 the first time (Buyer sent it back) and sold the 2nd time for $160.00.
I sold quit a few of my traps. People were in the spending mod for sure.
