Title: Looking for a camp cook in Alaska
Post by: Pinetar on May 27, 2019, 08:30:53 AM
My cook for the last 15 plus years has had a family emergency and just informed me she can't make it up this summer.

The job is from June 14th to August 31st in a very remote sport fishing camp in Alaska.  Have to be able to get up early every morning start coffee, cook breakfast then dinner in the evenings. Meals are simple but good. Looking for someone that is very organized and clean and not afraid to work every day. Lots of time to yourself during the day to relax or do a little fishing around camp or in evenings with the guides.

The camp is a large Weatherport camp with hot and cold running water, solar for electricity with backup generator, phones, no internet, carpeted floors and full propane kitchen with two ovens.

Our family has been operating camps all over Alaska for almost forty years, so you will be comfortable and safe.

PM me for more info or send resume to duncan@elltel.net. You can check out our website at www.alaskaflyfishingcamps.com. The job opportunity is at our Lower River Base Camp on the Kanektok River in Western Alaska.
