Title: Drew the Mallis muzzy cow tag (elk area 6010)
Post by: optic2 on June 15, 2019, 04:07:56 AM
I drew the mallis muzzy cow tag (elk area 6010). Anyone have any info for this tag? The area split up into two areas,

1) small area northeast of Raymond (all private land)
2)follows highway 6 for 15.5 miles starting about 3.5 miles south of Raymond, it is about
1/3 DNR land and the rest is private.

Anyone know if the tree farms in #1 above allow public access, or do they all require permits?
Anyone know of anyone in #2 that would be a good person to approach about hunting on the private land?
Anyone else draw this tag and want to hunt together?

Is it still 1.5 miles either side of Highway 6?  There is quite a bit of State Land.  Lots of small parcels of private property.  Quite a few farmers.
