Title: Any pictures of success on the late whitetail in Perrygin unit?
Post by: seaduckhunter on June 24, 2019, 03:18:35 PM: Drew this tag this year. I have seen whitetail bucks in the unit but I was hoping to see some pictures of what people are getting on this hunt.

Post by: bigmacc on June 28, 2019, 04:16:17 PM: Don't have a picture but we did stumble onto a big whitetail one year(1997), he was on private land of an Ironworker friend of my dads. My dad and a cousin had permission to hunt a bear that was seen numerous times, it was during deer season and they set up on a big "hole" the bear was seen the day before, when going in they jumped a big 5 by 5 Flagger (including eye guards), they dropped him. There are whiteys in 224, mostly on private but not all :tup:, stay south. I know this may be hard to swallow for some, but, some of the biggest Flaggers I've seen were actually in 218, thats another story :chuckle: I will PM you.

I wonder how long it will take WDF$Wolves to admit the deer herd is in bad shape? And will they them blame the decline on the encroachment of people/habitat?

Biggest whitetail I have seen to date in the Methow was up in Ortel Cr, in 92..

Post by: Wingin it on June 30, 2019, 06:55:25 AM: They are there but most I've seen are on private ground. I'd be doing some preseason door knocking. If public land is your only option I'd stay low and on the fringe of agriculture.
