This was supposedly caught in Lake Washington (I've also received at least 5 emails stating this fish was caught in 5 different locations)... I take no stock in internet photos these days.

Anyone see the one about the huge gator caught in banks lake. LOL
Don't know if this is an internet photo or if a friend took it or what, he didn't say.  Looking at the vegetation and the likelyhood, I wouldn't dispute it.

The fish is for real, but thats not the guy who caught it. Look at how they tried to blur around his head. I think it was caught in Saskatewan. :dunno:

I know the fish is real... it was on the cover of ST&S magazine last year. That's exactly my point... I'm sure the picture of the Lynx is real... just can't be sure where it was taken.

If anyone needs coordinates because they are interested in photography, let me know.  I know where there are several populations.  Are you still allowed OIL with one for trapping???

The lynx was listed as a state threatened species in 1993, and became a Threatened species under the federal Endangered Species Act in April 2000. No trapping allowed.

About twenty five years ago I followed a lynx up an old road, it walked and trotted 50 feet ahead of me for several minutes. While snowmobiling around the Methow it's not unusual to cut one or two tracks a season, so there is a few here.
